1. Understanding Frame Measurements

If you look at the inside temple (the arm) of a pair of glasses you currently own, you will usually see a sequence of three numbers separated by dashes or spaces (for example: 50-22-145). These numbers represent millimeters (mm) and are the key to your fit:

• Lens Width (e.g., 50): The horizontal width of one lens. A wider lens offers a more oversized, glamorous look, while a narrower lens provides a sharp, vintage aesthetic.

• Bridge Width (e.g., 22): The distance between the two lenses. If you have a narrow nose bridge, look for lower numbers (14-18mm). For a wider nose bridge, look for higher numbers (19-24mm).

• Temple Length (e.g., 145): The length of the arm piece from the hinge to the tip. Most adult temples range from 135mm to 150mm to ensure they rest comfortably over your ears.
